Tactable grew out of Geoff, Gordon and Phil’s experience building technology and leading teams throughout their careers. They had worked with talented people and ambitious organizations, and had also seen how bureaucracy, unclear ownership and layers of process could slow good work down. They wanted to build a company where experienced people could stay close to the work, take responsibility for what they were building and have a meaningful impact on the outcome. That thinking still influences how we operate today, from the people we hire to the way we work with our clients. Relationships, Technical Excellence and Lifelong Learning have been our core values from the beginning. We invest in long-term relationships with our clients and with each other. We take our craft seriously and maintain a high technical standard across our work. We also recognize that working in technology means continually learning, adapting and sharing what we know. As we’ve grown, those values have remained consistent. They give our people room to do good work, keep us accountable to the people we work with, and continue to influence the kind of company we’re building.
